Norms that regulate the Warranty period

  • For repair or replacement of equipment or parts under warranty, inform the competent office of BPC and ask for the authorization to return the defective appliances to BPC facilities.

  • Fill in the RMA form in all its fields and send it to the competent BPC office. To obtain the authorization is essential provide all the information requested.

  • A single RMA number allows the return of a single instrument or a single part or more parts that have the same identification code and the same defect.

  • After checking the data sent and checking the validity of the guarantee, the BPC office shall inform the applicant of the RMA number authorizing the return.

  • The sender must write down the RMA number issued on the shipping document and on the packaging so that it is recognized on his arrival in BPC.

  • The packaging of the instrument must be appropriate, BPC is not responsible for any damages that may be caused to the instrument during the shipment.

  • Once returned in BPC, the instrument or part of it will be inspected and if possible repaired. If the repair doesn't assure the restore of the original quality level, the defective part will be replaced with a brand-new one.

  • The repair or replacement under warranty is free of charge. Warranty does not apply to the consumables, all glass parts, pistons, tubing, probes, lamps and to any part which presents evidence of repairing and/or bad handling.

  • Components of assemblies as well as the flow cell, mechanical assemblies, power supplies, electronic boards, must not be disassembled otherwise the warranty is void.

  • The transport costs are shared as follows: the one that requires the warranty service pays for shipping the goods in BPC, BPC pays the return shipping.

  • Waiting time for repair (excl. the transport) can change from one to two weeks depending on the availability of spares in the BPC stock. In case of need of mechanical parts, the waiting time could be longer.

 Repair of analyzers out of warranty

  • For repair of analyzers out of warranty, inform the competent office of BPC and request the authorization to return the faulty instrument.

  • Fill in the RMA form in all its fields and send it to the competent BPC office. To obtain the authorization is essential provide all the information requested.

  • The BPC office shall inform the applicant of the RMA number authorizing the return.

  • The sender must write down the RMA number issued on the shipping document and on the packaging so that it is recognized on his arrival in BPC.

  • The packaging of the instrument must be appropriate, BPC is not responsible for any damages that may be caused to the instrument during the shipment.

  • Once back in BPC, the instrument is tested and is issued a detailed quote which will be sent to the sender.

  • All repair costs (labor and spare parts) and all shipping costs plus any customs charges are paid by the sender.

  • The sender communicates via email or fax If accepts the cost estimate.

  • Once repaired, the competent office of BPC informs the sender that the instrument was repaired and will be shipped after payment.

  • If repair is not paid within the agreed time, additional storage costs will be applied.
